A "permanent" shave

I'm not usually one for these threads but here goes!

The situation is such: I hate shaving, probably due to laziness and I hate having a beard.

It itches a lot etc and id rather never had to shave my face again!

I cant quite seem to find anything directly useful via Google either.

Permanent facial hair removal that isn't going to leave me scarred horribly is the main goal here.

Anyone able to share some information?

Also, i don't wear man bags and i'm not a gayer :p
Mustard doesn't work either ;)

I hate shaving too - it hurts - itches for days and leaves a rash - I think in 30 years I have only "shaved 3 times" I now (and always have done) use a pair of clippers - okay its not super smooth but it does cause any irritation and you can get a pretty close shave no worries.

Also I dont use electric shavers - they do the same as razors to me!

khushy

PS - as for waxing your face - good luck - I can just about stand haveing my cycling/speed-skating legs done by the wife - oooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

For those that can't be arsed shaving (or for whatever reason), you should get this:

I bought one just a few months ago and i use it all the time. When i shave it always aggrovates my skin as i get bored after a few minutes, but with this, i can shave my entire face and neck in around 2 minutes. So easy to use and makes you at least look like you care about your appearance! :)

Hmm a stubble managing device might be worth a look actually! :)

just shaved, hate shaving, try to put it off as long as i can before looking to much like i'm from Victorian england (the bushy sideburns XD), doesn't matter what expensive/cheap stuff I use or how I use it it always ends up rubbishy (itchy/patchy blah blah blah)

I've often though it would be great if you could get pills for hair growth. One to switch it off, and another to switch it on again. Would save a fortune on hair cuts :o

Shave properly and it will be less of a painfull experience.

I shave like this:
(Personally, I think it is better if you do this after a shower)

Fill sink with hottest water you can stand
Spash hot water on all parts of your face you intend to shave
Use a quality foam/gel, i use a Gillette sensitive, or similar
Shave without pushing too hard, let the blade/s do the work
I use as long a strokes as possible, rinsing under the hot tap/hot water after each
When completed, splash/clean your face with water straight out of the cold tap

Bish Bash Bosh, job done, no pain, clean shave and the cold water closes up your skin to stop spots/rash :)

Same here! ... but remember peeps.. only shave in one direction when doing your neck. I used to shave down towards my adams apple.. but my face never felt smooth enough. So I used to shave back up towards my chin, result is a nice smoother feel with some epic shaving rash :o

being really really dark i end up shaving nearly every day! this was terrible for my skin so i do it every third day now as it better for my skin, nicer to shave and i like the stubble look...well the g/f does...not the feel though lol

yes, never looked back since getting my itrim, they are simply brilliant.. also if you do want a fully clean shave, go over with this first then wet shave, no itches or aggrevations at all!

and the best thing is they aint like the philips coolshaves etc which i still found were annoying/painfull to use.

Do what i did and buy a cut throat razor a decent badger bristle brush and real shaving soap. google how to shave properly and it will become enjoyable,

Originaly i took 1 hour to have a shave and was like omg this takes for ever but once you do it properly and treat your skin its enjoyable.

Currently saying that i have a beard but thats because its winter.
