A Quiet Place: Day One

Should have just left it with the first 2, and don't you see bits of the outbreak in the second one anyway.

This looks a bit **** and generic to me, the first was pretty amazing, and second was a nice edition, but it had a hard act to follow. This just looks like a pants action flick to me.

Aye they’re a bit garbage (but strangely popular) Deaf girl wandering round as if just because she can’t hear anything she’s not making noise. Deaf girl and her dad figuring out what no one else would ever have imagined - creatures with super sensitive hearing can be overwhelmed by certain sound frequencies - who would have thunk it!
 
Just put of the cinema and this was a lot better than I expected. Very TWD esk (when it was good) in storytelling when it focused on the characters rather than the
monster aliens.

never understood the "monsters" in these films, you have to be super quiet else they attack you. did no one think of moving to the coast or a water fall or anywere else were there a lot of natural noise to hide.

This film series winds me up. The first was original, a bit clever.
The second cringe
This one is just annoying, another character story, which I'm bored of frankly, the stupidity of the characters, the inconsistent "alien mechanics"
The film answers nothing substantial to the aliens....
It's utterly predictable, scene for scene.
I lost count of how many face palms I did. Cliché predictable guff..


And.
...the next person will love it... It's gonna be complete marmite.


get all those Blackhawks ah64s and play loud music hover 30 feet over the river and chaingun the crap out of them. It's half in jests but I'd rather have seen that or 5 mins of some military posturing instead of a cliché cancer puppetshow

I've not seen the third one yet, but I agree with you on the first two.

I actually enjoyed the first one, quite original take on the genre. Second one wasn't needed and was just cringe.

Not sure I can be bothered with the third.
 
Took this photo in Canary Wharf last year, didn't realise until I watched movie they were fliming the downtown scene there.
