Kennedy was a legend! She was proper barmy, which older people my tut at but I am 29 and barmy old women amuse me.

As for Vanessa Feltz. CANT STAND HER!

I generally turn the radio off if she is on. That way people don't laugh at the nutter shouting at it!

I really miss not being able to listen to Radio 4. You could maybe try that? Also, Vanessa Feltz is one of the most irritating women to ever (dis)grace our screens and airwaves.

Sarah Kennedy was a daft racist old drunken bint. Quality entertainment. I've switched Radio 4 now that Wogan has retired, very dull but at least it's not Chris Evans.

I used to despise Sarah Kennedy, but when she left I pretty much stopped listening to Radio 2. Chris Evans just irritates, and I've gone off Ken Bruce as well. It took me a while to realise it, but the vast majority of what they play during the morning on Radio 2 is dreadful.

The idea of Feltz replacing old jolly hockey sticks is almost as bad as that gob ***** Norton replacing Ross. It's almost as if they don't want the listeners any more.

Apart from Zoe Ball on Saturday morning, I've started listening to provincial commercial radio once more from 8am till 1pm, and getting back in touch with the modern music scene... Or whatever the stations are being paid to promote, that is... Thankfully the 80's classics help to ease the pain of endless replays of The Wanted, JLS and that ropey Cheryl Cole track. :p That said, I now the all the lyrics to California Girls. :D

Drifted a bit off topic there, sorry...

Steve Allen on LBC always funny, weekdays 5am to 7am, sunday 7am to 10am

You're joking right? It's the same show every day with him slagging off Jordan and other zelebs. Awful, awful show.

Although I guess he'll be swapping one bigotted old woman for another. ;)

Radio's version of The Sun and the Daily Mail rolled into one. :D

The only person worth listening to on LBC these days is Nick Abbott.

Crikey! I never new Nick Abbott was still out there! I used to listen to him late at night when I was 13/14 with my little wireless in the days before the intraweb. 3 songs they allways used to play, Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode, Stay Together by Suade and Keep Talking by Pink Floyd. I became a massive Depeche Mode fan all though my youth.

Aswell Nick Abbot when he was virgin is who that awful gob on legs Chris Moyles [Hi Im Chis Moyles now everyone listen to my voice talking about me and the rest of the team may only speak if your talking about me and if I interview you lets make the whole interview about MEEEEE] modled himself on. Nick Abbott was, at least back then what Chris Moyles would have been if he was any good.

Yeah he was great on Virgin and Talk Radio wasn't he!

Unfortunately due to LBC's relatively recent "you must be totally boring" policy he's had to tone down the humour quite a lot, however I still listen to his LBC show via podcast every week as it's still interesting/fun. Nothing like the old days though, very different show. If you want me to send you one to listen to then my email is in trust.
