No matter how it's implemented it'll always be open to abuse. The thing I love about this forum is its simplicity as it doesn't have things like social network integration, ridiculous avatar and sig rules, a reputation system etc.

I don't like that reputation addon, ive seen a few forums get it and it either gets abused or it becomes a bit of circle jerk where all the regulars pat themselves on each others backs and then new people feel left out.
