A time to fight?

And IF he went to the police, I seriously doubt id be in for any major punishment, he already has a criminal record for fighting left over from a year or so ago i think it is, i have an entirely clean sheet with the police.

Doesn't matter if he has a criminal record or not. If you start a fight and give him a beating the courts will not look at that. And for your clean record and depending on a load of other things, I think you would get at least 200 hours of community service. How would you do that in uni?

Now, if he starts on you that's a different matter. Just talk to the girl and let her know what a idiot he is. Also, try to record him boasting how he has laid her she won't like that one bit.

Grow up & just let it drop. Dishing out a beating (however much deserved) will more than likely make matters worse.

Violence doesn't solve anything. It may make you feel better but it isn't a solution.

Suggest something then ;)

Agreed.

Of course OP may want to experience this for himself and open a can of whoopass.

If OP wants to be the hero try talking to the girl about finishing with him rather than going to him and besides its not your business unless you want to bone her, is it worth a broken nose, bashed down door?

If you can't decide the right course of action other than violence but have decided to move in on the situation then why get involved, especially if you have no plan other than posting here and resorting to violence. Violence acts lead to violent results, your prob end up linched by his mates for that.

How it is seen is you approached the guy, told him this and that, he got annoyed at you being a nosey parker (though yes you are trying to do the right thing) as thats how he would see it, you would have been the instigator of the situation.

Oh and if i find it was him who ****** my lock then i WILL give some kind of payback, in whatever way, i had to go through the pouring rain all the way up a steep hill to the wardens lodge and back, got soaked through!!! :p

Best thing is to read a few books on martial arts then make a thread telling ppl about your leet fighting skillz and how tough you are. It doesn't matter if you're a pussy in real life because ppl believe the internets.

Make sure he gets to read the thread, as you know, it's bound to scare him. Then giggle as you watch him pack his bags and scarper for home :p

Job done.

Fixed.

There you go, he's quaking in his boots already :p ;)

You could just hit it (her) instead of him, thus fixing everything about the situation.

Well letting the "door thing" go is great, except my room is no longer able to be locked as it has no lock, and the new one is being installed either today or tomorrow. Im out in lectures etc most of today, and tonight im back home for the night. Leaving my room exposed like that to a **** like that who as i said spends time in the flat is not particularly appealing.

You could just buy a new lock?.. Obviously security wont be too happy, but that's life. Leave a key with them and then they have the option to replace it. Simple (very simple, and no excuse whatoever to not do it).

As for the guy, you're obviously not going to give him a smack (and that's a good thing), so really it's time to tell the girl everything, about his GF etc. Tell him straight that you suspect him of tampering with your shiznit and that if you see him near your shiznit again you will be forced to throw him a thump.
If he doesnt smack you instantly you can be pretty sure he wont screw around with your shiznit for a while.

If you can get access to his room, powederd milk under his bottom sheet, that should do the trick, also no girls will go near him as he will smell like off milk for weeks.

Hehe, yeah, i'll just tell him to log on to ocuk ;)

Be prepared to spend lots of hours in your bedroom on building up that online persona though. I suggest double shifts. Oh and don't forget to pwn lots of posters on here who dare to disagree with your views, extra points for Dons. Use big fancy words, that always helps.

Seriously though, you'll look back on this one day and wonder why you made such a fuss ;)

Oh the girl is definately your win, win situation here mate. As usual Gilly comes up with top trumps on the reply for you.

My honest opinion is leave it, but if anything else happens, confront him, if he gets defenceless kick his ass out of your flat and tell him not to come back. When you confront him you might like to hold a knife, this usually makes the victim feel a bit threatened and vulnerable.

just tell the girl yourself, its up to her then

forget the lock, probably just a drunken joke

when i was in uni, my mate had his whole door removed when he went home for the weekend, his housemates said it broke off when they were wrestling in the house, and that they'd called a carpenter to come and fix it, they kept fobbing him off etc.. and after about 3 months of not having a door, he found it in mint condition under his mates bed :D

immature ramblings.

Don't resort to violence because that is an immature way of handling conflict. Tell the girl - if you're a mate then she will appreciate it. Talk to him about it and make it clear that you don't appreciate your room or door being messed with. If he messes with it/you again, then electrodes + nads.

I hope you're joking?!

That gives his "friend" the chance to say "That's not a knife", pull out a machete, and say "That's a knife".

No one should give other people that oppertunity!
