I kinda want one, but am not sure. I will probablly end up grabbing one, but I really am not interested in the bundled game even at all.

I think the controllers are expensive (30 for the controller, 15 for the attachments) which is £45!

Games are a decent price though. I will probablly end up with one, but not sure with what games.

Why do these polls never have "I'm going to wait and see if it's any good first" ?

Because everyone here is a rabid fanboy who has already made up their mind before seeing how good the games are for each console. :D

I'm going to wait and see with the Wii. I want to see how the wiimote works before buying one, especially as the wiimotes/nunchucks are so expensive.

How, you truly cant test a games console unless you own it or borrow it off a mate and most people woudl not lend a console out.

i'm going with... "I havn't made my mind up yet, and won't be doing so until it's actually released".

i would like to stick with nintendo, but it depends what the controller turns out like... at the moment it sounds very gimmicky tbh.

I'm a little disappointed it's £180 rather than £150. If I could get it for £185 without Wii Sports but with Zelda I'd be sold.

there's plenty of people after ps3 just not on this forum
i'm a bit dissapointed with the 180 price mark was expecting 100 to 130,might just wait after ps3 comes out to get one

with all the bad rep sony was getting for their console i was getting carried away with all the reports that the wii will be cheap
after all its only the controller thats next gen not the console
but you may be right expecting 130 to 150 was a bit naive of me

Well, the poll so far shows that almost 85% of the people here are going to have a wii, which paints a nice picture for nintendo!

I'm getting one on launch. :D

i literally can't believe all the people saying "i was going to buy it at £149.99, but now it's £179.99, i won't be." it's £30! and that extra £30 gets you a game that you weren't expecting with the £149.99 one!

Wii Sports looks ace as well, should be a nice demonstration of what the controller will be able to do.

I'd put myself in this group, at sub £150 (please note sub £150 does not necessarily mean £149.99, most expectations seemed to place the price around the £130 mark a few weeks ago) I would have had it pre-ordered already, at £180 I'm going to wait and see. The tech is still unproven and previews/opinions from those who have actually used it are very mixed. Many seem to be assuming that will become the home version of the DS, with a wide range of excellent, totally original games, but that is far from being definite at the moment.

For me this is very much a secondary system that I expect to play with friends I really can’t see myself using it for single player games over the PC, 360 or PS3. Paying £180 plus £45 for a second controller for a system that I don't see myself using on a regular basis isn't the excellent value Nintendo have been hyping.

It's the fact you're being forced to buy a game that for some of us wouldn't be a first choice purchase. Also around E3 Ninty said that Wee Sports was more of a mini-games game than a proper game game.

I just find it incredible that people have now dissed Nintendo because a price that was imagined up by the media, was never ever confirmed by Nintendo themselves (they actually said sub £200, it was media speculation that said around the £150 mark), and because Nintendo have given a price that will make them some profit (bad Nintendo, shame on you!) that people are now deciding to not bother because it's not the price they wanted.

Nintendo are still releasing a sub £200 machine (as they said, and it's £20 sub that £200), are throwing in a game, or rather a collection of mini games YET STILL this is not good enough folks is it? These games are, according to some, not really games but a mere technical demonstration of what the machine can do. Hmmmm.

And then, to top it off, this machine which is STILL cheaper than any of the current next-gen consoles (should that read the ONLY current next-gen console), Nintendo are again going to try and make a little bit of money for themselves and charge sub £20 for a new controller. They've even the balls to still try and help it's future customers by offering the purchase of remote, nunchuk, gamepad as all seperate entities to save you, the customer, that little bit more.

And yet, despite all these attempts to gain your custom you've turned your back because the Wii isn't £150 as was widely speculated.

God help Sony if the PS3 isn't £399!!!

I don't really understand the people getting upset that some won't be buying because of the price. Everybody is free to do what they want, if some people feel the system isn't good value that’s just their opinion, it's their money, they are free to spend it as they want.

I just dont want the game, if they sell it without any games I will buy one. I'm in no hurry so I will wait, don't see what the problem is really.

Everyone has a budget it may only be £30 to some, but others won't want to spend it. So what. As a second console I really don't want to spend that much. I'd rather wait til after christmas when they shave some off. They probably where going to sell it cheaper til the ps3 turned up late to the party.

i have to agree with cronox, some opinions have been mixed thats put some doubt in my mind .
those doubts wil disapear after the price drops to about 130 after xmas
