I am running a x2 4600 @2600MHz [220x12].
At full load Folding & BOINC 1 core is always 3C hotter than other, by Core Temp utility, with stock HSF.
Is this "normal" for dual core A64's?

Thanks

that is right mate as the cpu gas got two cores, so one will be running more info than the other so the temp will be higher on one !! some times 8c or a bit more .!

;-).

Same here, 5C hotter on Core 1.

Not sure if you any of you guys has the same problem, but if I run core temp in the background it will shut my pc off randomly, I mean completely off like someone pulled the power cord, usually during heavy load (i.e. 2* F@H, video encoding, whatching moving at the same time).

Have you put tick in "disable overheat warning" in settings?
