So I accidentally mentioned a competitor brand... my bad! Thanks to Doomedspeed's help I'm now looking at a PC from Overclockers with this spec...

1 x "Titan Envy Duo DC" Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.6GHz Overclocked Nvidia GeForce SLI Gaming PC £887.03
1 x ESET Smart Security - Trial Key £0
1 x OcUK Value Blu-ray / DVDRW combi SATA - OEM £44.95
1 x Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST2000DM001) HDD £66.98
1 x Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive (MZ-75E500B/EU) £199.99
1 x No Crossfire Upgrade £0
1 x KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card - OEM (97NPH6DT6XTZ) £254.99
1 x Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-17100C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black/Red (HX21C11BRK2/8-OC) £67.99
1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-02733) £79.99
1 x OcUK Standard System Warranty - 3 Year (24 Month C&R + 12 Month Labour) £0
1 x Standard Build Systems - Dispatched within 7 working days £0
Total : £1,615.43 (includes shipping : £11.25).

What do you guys think? I will be running on a 27" Asus ROG Swift which is a great monitor.

Thanks!

You can't mention other retailers (direct competition) on this forum, so unless you're buying all that from here you shouldn't expect a favourable response.

TBH you should get it all from here. You'll probably get a better price/warranty etc. :) A quick look shows that i7 way cheaper here to start!

Custom PC from www

Welcome to the forums,as shampoo has said, you need to remove this, you have come to overclockers with a spec from another company,we do not allow talk or hint from other company's im afraid.

If you need a spec then please ask but not from another pc company.

Please take the time to read the rules and enjoy your stay :)

GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB (wont say particular brand on website but rang and they guessed it would be Galax)

That doesn't fill me with confidence.

Why don't you look at OCUK.. I think the prices and choices are MUCH better.

This is what i'd be looking at:

I did change your idea a little, i don't think a 1TB SSD is needed, do you? a lot of money. 500GB should be plenty, it not like you should be storing heaps of photos or videos on there, just installed programs.

Unless your a MASSIVE audiofile with an epic speaker system a sound card isn't needed, motherboard sound is really good now a days.

You can go for 16GB of RAM if you want.. Either way is a good choice.
