Not really. Less than a second, and Caterham have got it this year.

Blame ultimately lies with the FIA for picking them, but 3 years in and still all out back on their own is just unacceptable. Its a waste of 6 grid slots. At least when Minardi were always at the back they were the stepping stone into F1 for a lot of drivers. These new teams are just padding out the grid with seats available to whoever has the biggest cheque book.

I also hate that they are still being called the 'new teams', as if its being used as some kind of excuse to cover up the fact they are rubbish.
