Why would he listen to them? It isnt his fault that he is in this position . The car failing on him all year is why.

Because they, as always, want the best team result from the race. They don't want to lose second place because Hamilton wants it, and they don't want to have to deal with the fallout of Rosberg losing WDC because Lewis played games in the final race.

In a different world you are. For the record Alonso who you rate as the best, rates Hamilton as the best (so at worst Hamilton is second best on the grid).
