They are fools if they did. Both championships won before the race started, let them race like they say they always do.

Hamilton did everything he could in that race, and all season. Mercedes reliability was all that cost him this year.

Not really. Yeah, he lost because of reliability, but he also lost it because he stuffed up the start several times and because Rosberg beat him fair and square across quali and race in several races.

That is part of F1 sure , but they shouldnt lie to sugar coat his win.

Well consistency plays a huge part. Similar to Alonso when he won his titles he would happily settle for 2nds and collect the point once he was ahead in the Championship.

I cant be doing with the pair of them but much respect for Lewis to controlling that race, totally controlled it.

That said, best on track donuts we've seen by far from Rosberg there. His practice at Goodwood paid off.

Mercedes forgetting it's a competative sport not a corporate procession. They're a embrassing for the sport.

On a more important note, well done McLaren Honda on ruining Jensons last race. So disappointed. I hope he makes a competative return or is successful in another series. If I had to idolise anyone for being an outstanding figure in what he does, it would be JB
