ACB Controller Problems

Hi all.

Is it possible to remap the controls on the PC version of Assassins Creed Brotherhood?

I have an XBOX360 pad but when I go to options and select the pad the controls and greyed out and I can't change them. And they're all mapped really bizarrely and nothing like they defaulted to on AC2.

I used a 360 pad for Brotherhood. i thought they were exactly the same? Didn't have any problems with it.
Is there an option in control panel to remap the controller buttons?

Actually i use a wired windows controller so it might be slightly different

There is but all the controls are greyed out and I can't change them.

Before I go hitting the roof that Ubisoft have omitted something that I consider to be basic functionality i'd like someone to confirm that it's not my controller or Windows install being a pillock.

Are you using a wired or wireless pad?

Wireless.

FWIW it works flawlessly in AC1 and 2.

I just loaded it up with my wired windows controller and i can not change anything either, it's all greyed out for me too.

It's not the best solution, but you could use something like Xpadder?

Well yes, but it just seems like a pretty serious oversight to me. I'll just use an external program to reconfigure the controls, but it's pretty poor on Ubisoft's part IMO.
