Ignoring the price it just seems a hell of a burden. If it was easily fixable then the owner would have had it done surely? And if I owned a car like that I sure as hell would have it on fully comp insurance so why wouldn't you just get it fixed on that :confused:

Thats about the value I had in my head when I said it wasnt worth enough.

£8k isnt enough IMO, £3k to buy leaves you with 5k to repair it. But it wont be valued as high as a non-writted off and repaired one IF it has the CAT D.

And it'll take time to fix too which means the value will plummet even further by the time you've fixed it.

Seriously, dont understimate just how much BMWs cost to fix.

Not worth it IMO.
