Well today my number was up, I was involved in an accident, coming back from town the car in front of me a 206 had stopped to turn right so as I was stationary behind the woman in front, I was ploughed into at a car which was travelling at full speed and which made no attempt to brake this car was a Jaguar owned by an elderly women. Basically she was in another world of her own and didn't even have time to brake let alone even acknowledge i was stopped behind a row of cars and clear as day. She noticed me about a few car's length from me. My car then tapped the car in front as she hit me no real damage at all to the car in front but my rear end has been plowed in and my front bumper has a small crack in. Really shookup and just got back from A+E for a check over (I have whiplash and a blood pressure through the roof  ), Very shook up. Im worried my car could be written off atm as the structure of the rear does look pretty bad looks underlying. Will update with pics soon, just finished putting claim in. :(

At least you are ok and it was not your falut, hopefully the silly old bint will have insurance and all will be well again. :)

Remarkable really :p

Unlucky with the accident, hopefully the insurance will sort it al out without too many problems.

Sparehweel/Boot compartment all caved in just under the bumper, could this be written off, how could somthing like this be fixed?

Yea it really could be worse, but the boot compartment is all connected to the main structure afaik so im not sure how they would sort that out?. If it was just the bumpers i wouldn't care less but its definetly underlying. Her car came off much worse. She couldn't even get the thing moving once it had happened stuff leaking all over.

Picking up hire car tmoz, some ****ty 1l thing :(

**** all wrong with that tbh :D, you survied didnt you :p

Yes. But still a major inconvenience like i said i couldn't care about the damn bumper damage its the underlying damage thats bothering me right now.

Someone crashed into my Sisters Peugeot 306 the other week,

the insurance people have given her a BRAND NEW BMW 116i to drive round in

Helphire are fantastic - they take all the grief of dealing with insurance companies out of the equastion.

Why should you have to drive round in a car thats nasty - wasnt your fault.

They also have a sister company for personal insurance claims. Whiplash can be really serious mate!

Whos sorted your hire car out? The jag drivers insurance or yours?
