Accidents Happen!

Cut my head open when I was 7, fell into the corner of a wall, a circle hole about 20mm x 20mm right in the centre of my forehead. Needed a tetanus injection in the wound and 10 stitches. I still remember the pain today :( it was awful.

various scars from generally being a clumsy arse. I misjudge everything :D even how big the steps are I take, it's all a bit silly really.

dad slammed the door and i like a fool put my hand up to stop it and my hand went right through the glass making a pretty nice deep cut requiring 8 stitches.....a few more mil to one side and it would have been through one of the main arteries.....then had a really sexy american nurse stitch it up...it was worth it :D

Fell down the stairs when i was 3 head first into some ornaments, requiring a rather large amount of stitches and wearing bandages which made me look like i had a nappy on my head for 2 weeks.

Walked face first into a cake shop window fracturing my nose when i was 9, wasnt paying attention to my surroundings at all.

Fell of a swing when i was 12, fracturing my right arm, ironic really because a month later i fell over while running on ice and fractured my left arm.

Fell off my bike at 13, face first onto the curb, smash 3 front teeth, serious pain there!

Was choppin a tree down @ 14, about 5 minutes in i feel a weird pain in my leg, look down to notice i had somehow disturbed a wasps nest and they had proceeded to attack my leg (sh*tloads of the bloody things!), Never tried to run so quick in my life (failed mind you lol) luckily someone heard me screaming and i got help, leg was swollen up like a golfball for about 4 weeks, couldnt walk, am now scared to death of wasps and i run at the first sight of one.

Fell through the roof of an abandoned building @ 16, landing on my back causing bruising and a hell of a lot of pain.

Shot @ 19 (2 bullets grazing the side of my head & 1 lodging itself in my bottom jaw) which led to a car chase, which eventually led to me crashing (clocked at just over 100mph), airbag didnt go off so i went head first into windscreen leaving quite a few cuts (thats the accident part folks) ironically crashed right near the police station.
Though they was more interested in me crashing the car rather than me being shot and i was refused medical treatment for nearly an hour till ambulance turned up.

That's about it for me, life has been rather crap towards me, but im still alive, so no worries.

Wicket keeping, last game of this season. I was stood up to the stumps to a medium quick bowler and I used my face to stop the ball instead of the gloves.

2 hours in A and E with a broken nose...although when I realised what was about to happen I thought it was going to me much worse.

B****** batsmen took a single though off my face, I suppose that is Yorkshire Cricket.

Hehe, I once found out why silly point is appropriately named. Took a ball at full whack directly to the shin (no pads) leaving a nice seam-shaped bruise -- only when that had healed did I notice the seam-shaped indentation in my shin bone!

I've been pretty lucky with injuries, never managed to break a bone as far as I know. The main ones that spring to mind though are:

When I was 4 or 5 my cousin trapped my hand in a big oak door. Apparently my fingers were flat, and they still are a bit...

When I was about 11 I was playing tennis on gravel. I slipped and got my finger trapped between the racquet and the floor. Ripped most of the fingernail off. It's amazing quite how much blood can come out of the end of your finger.

At about 15 I was playing badminton and managed to get hit in the face, taking a nice chunk of flesh off the bridge of my nose. Still got a scar there -- though it's slightly embarrassing to have to refer to it as my badminton scar!

Finally, when I was 18 I was playing basketball and bent my finger right back, doing some ligament damage. Couldn't move it for a few months and it took about 2 years to stop being painful when I tried to grip anything. Killed any chance I had of playing cricket at uni.

Hit my ankle instead of the ball while batting a couple of weeks back. Still hasn't healed much so shall be off to the docs! Can you tell I'm a bowler rather than a batsman :p

had some funny accidents when I was younger.

Aged about 12 me and my best bud spent all morning making some catapults. Proper good ones. Then we were testing them out and getting bored of the stones bouncing off trees etc so I thought it would be amazing to fire a shard of glass. So it would stick into the tree. Pulled the elastic right back, aimed it - where could it possibly go? In my exposed inner wrist. Blood spuing everywhere. That was fun.

At 16 I messed up bad on a bmx vert ramp, ended up shattering my heel. Had to have my own special desk set up for my GCSEs. :)

At 18 this time on a mountain bike I stacked it and dislocated my knee. Ligaments going sounded like a pistol. More painful than the heel. Nearer the end of that year I did it again paint balling and the same leg.

19 was snowboarding. Managed to put the blade though the middle of my own hand with a 3.5inch lock knife. Was damn awkward trying to board after that.

Last Year,

Last May/June Time i thought it would be funny to make a homemade bomb :D

i got a huge can of spraypaint taped lots of nails and old rivets to it covered it in petrol set it on fire walked a fair distance away and shot it.

I missed.

so i put the gun point blank to it turnt away and shot, you can probably guess what happened.

the paint came out and up my arm from my finger tips to my elbow cos i had a t-shirt on luckily it was on fire and brunt me badly lol.

set my hair on fire too and wouldv'e covered most of my back too if it wasn't for my t-shirt.

Me not thinking just wanted the paint off so set about cleaning it off with white spirit then my freinds came bk and covered me in some cream stuff lol.

After about 30mins i got myself under some water and eventually went to hopsital lol

got there and they only put a pad on my hand and left my arm open.

went to the doctors few days later andhad blisters in between my fingers on the back of my hand an up my arm to my elbow for 6 weeks had to go and get my bandags changed every 4 days and couldn't bath.

the last week i took the bandages off and jumped in the sea and within 2 days it was fine lol but now i have a scar all up my arm.

needless to say i won't do that again :D

btw my grammar is bad :D

Lets set the mood....

it was a nice spring day in early May, i had just purchased my flat with my gf and it came as a large shock to my mates as i hadnt really discussed it much.. so i decided to throw a beach party to celebrate.

We just jumped in our cars and drove randomly somwhere near the sea, we ended up in a place called california and set about finding a suitable beach. We found a large empty beach and set up camp with our bbq, fireworks, beers galore and bonfire.

It got to about 12am and it was a bit chilly, there were some other revellers on the beach that night and we randomly all joined in, there were about 30-40 of us.. it was cold so we stocked up the fire with wood that was nearby.. this wood formed part of a fence around a big cliffy/sea defence wall with a good 15-20ft drop on the other side.

I was fairly drunk and went up to collect some more fire wood but unfortunately somone had removed the fence to stop people from falling over and as i went to collect more wood from the very same fence i fell over the edge, the ground was mostly sandy and somehow i managed to land on a patch of concrete. the fall wasnt too bad, was quite fun. The ground however was a different story, it hurt.

i broke and dislocated my left elbow and broke my nose in a few places, two black eyes and did somthing to my hip which meant i couldnt walk for over a week.

i was out of hospital after 3 1/2 days and i got out of all the packing and putting DIY stuff together. unfortunately still cant use my left arm much as its now defuncted.

edit: lol i forgot i once cut my knucke off!!

dead nerves in left thumb and little finger (seperate knife related accidents)

more breakages than i care to think about (kneecap, elbow, both legs...)

hospital aint fun:mad:

Ive only had one bad one, i cut my tendon in the back of my hand on some glass. Was in hospital for 4 days then off work for 8 weeks.

Trapped my finger in the door yesterday, it was in the hinge part, pretty heavy door too - fireproof type thing in my apartment with automatic chain closer thingy. I thought the end of my finger had been cut off... first thing I did was call my mum lol. :p;)

Hit by a car going at 40mph at 14, barely survived and only have a small scar on my thigh to show for it. I landed on my backpack, which the doctors said had saved my life. My shoes apparently flew off a good 50 metres or so as well.
