First monitor back with supplier and credited.
2nd getting collected by courier tomorrow.

I'm now undecided if I'm getting a 3rd or now.

When are you getting yours fantastic?

Mine arrived today, from another retailer, I noticed that they have 1 on overclockers today!

I can’t set it up until Sunday due to work commitments! :( I’m a little bit annoyed they shipped as is, for such an expensive monitor I though it would have been in another box!

YEah - my box was also battered.

Let me know how you get on as I'm still undecided what I'm going to do with the whole monitor side of things!!

I’ve got it on!!!

Played BFV and Pubg so far need to spend more time in the settings but it’s incredible so far.

No dead pixels nothing wrong with it,very impressed with the build quality the screen is Superb.

Initial thoughts are wow, need to spend more time with it and will report back!

I'm tempted to try a 3rd!! Can you send me a message in trust as to where you purchased?

Came across this thread, how did it turn out for you Monkeyspaz5000?

I had one monitor with dirt/dust behind the screen.
The second monitor developed a faulty pixel and a black vertical line.

Sent both back and bought the AW Ultrawide.
I am however thinking of buying again as I'm looking into streaming and the UW format doesn't work too well for that.

I see :) I was just searching about how common it is to get dead pixels and found your post. I bought a Acer XV272P yesterday and it had none backlight bleeding which made me very happy until I saw two bright stuck pixels and several broken.

Will return the monitor today and play the lottery again with the same model.

I will never buy Acer again

This monitor is way overpriced, the panel tech is seriously bad and this screen suffers from image retention and mine always has stuck pixels and Acer won’t replace it. The screen also has a lot of light black, poor black levels and colour contrast

All round **** show I’ve never had with Samsung and LG panels

I know what you mean. 2,5 years ago I tried with two Acer BE270UA and one Asus MG279Q (it was mostly about too much backlight bleeding and yellowish whites). I then went with a Samsung C27FG70 instead which I've been happy with.

This time I want a monitor with HDR and 1080p which Acer XV272P has but now I'm at the second one of this model. Almost the same problems as the first one, it has one bright red stuck pixel almost at the middle of the screen and several broken ones.

I'm gonna give it a third try and then maybe decide to go to 1440p and choose Samsung again (C27HG70).
