So Acer in March 2015 have announced they will be bringing out 2 new monitors

A swift like monitor bring the best of everything IPS, 1440p, 144hz and Gsync

Hopefull the TN will be cheaper then the swift but IPS version i can see it having a premium on it

Nice, and kudos to acre.

But it would take a lot to drag me away from 40 inch uhd now.

Hopefully we will see not only a major pick up in IPs screens over 60hz, but va as well. Thinking 2016 will be a good year to buy a new monitor. So much changing at the moment.

Who ever thought the monitor section would get more exciting than the gpu action?

if a 40inch 4K had come along before the Swift I would probably on one of those instead... now I've tasted 120hz+ I will be waiting for 4K/120hz/40"/Sync

Am really pleased Acer is saying this new 144hz IPS monitor is going be G-sync and not free-sync....

Awesome news 27inch, IPS and 144hertz the gsync is just the icing on the cake. Wonder why they did not add freesync though ?

Decent 4K panels and 4K gpus I take it are still way off so this acer looks an excellent compromise.

Exact same for me. I miss 4K but not trading my ROG Swift for 60Hz G-Sync but 4K G-Sync and 120Hz and I am in and preferably 40"
