Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo 3 Speakers

Yea i noticed since i made it downfiring, on a song giant thump, whole floor shakes and you hear all my furniture shaking, why use carpet on concrete block, dont carpet eat bass lol?

My dad said that the speaker will ware out quicker becouse it dont have enough force to go back into the idle position, you know when its not moving, is this right? or aload of mumbo jumbo

Hmmm, the only reason i use the wood is so the sub is on a level service, since i had it like that, the bass is less boomy, and sounds better, anything else other than a concrete block that wood be good enough, hopefully i might have somthing in the garden, but would have to place it on that same piece of chipboard as my mum wouldent let me place it on the carpet.
