Actor

obviously would seem weird if you called a woman a fireman or policeman tho
the fact it seems weird even though its the most accurate description seems weird

we know why it went away... because a mam with a beard isnt a woman. and they get offended if you call them a man

slowly erasing female job titles to please men with a wig and makeup

I bet the first police woman and the first fire woman were so proud to have those job titles, and now it's been stolen away to please pretend women

although I guess it can go wrong.

She didnt handle that well and given her training and her job should not have reacted like that.... however all the guy had to do to was to apologise and say it was said in error because he was not looking that closely (unless it wasnt in which case he was a dick) and it would likely have deescalated.

i dont have a problem however with female officers potentially not wanting to be called a policeman or fireman however and it is no skin off my nose to call them something different. I am not sure how police/fireman is the most accurate description of a female officer however which is what you said

but i cant imagine any male copper would have issue being called a policeman nor a woman being called a police woman

(that said what do i know... i got told off calling someone luv! turns out southerners are more triggered about such things than where i am from)

Things change over time, waiter and waitress being replaced by server, air steward and air stewardess by flight attendant, comedienne just being comedian now, etc.

WTF are you on about? :D

100+ posts in and there's been no mention of trans issues and you just go balls deep on wigs and "pretend women"?
