Adam Johnson not guilty of child sex crime

A jury at Bradford Crown Court is still deliberating on a second similar charge.

The former Sunderland player previously admitted grooming the girl and one charge of sexual activity but denied two more serious counts.

He's got no chance of playing over here or any major league again in my opinion. Admitting to grooming is bad enough even if he didn't go ahead with the acts.

4-10 years apparently.

Judge might need to clarify the sentence is for his time in prison rather than the age of the girls he's allowed to have sex with.

You know the news outlets today, they love a click bait headline but throughout this the BBC always use "footballer" in their headlines. Whereas others use Adam Johnson, just wondered why?

So he could get up to 10 years for getting some action off a girl aged 15....people get less for murder. Half of Europe has the age of consent at 14...sure he should have known this however does the punishment fit the crime? Not at all!
