Adding a RAID card to my machine

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying the a RAID card for my PC.

INSERT STUPIDLY VAGUE NAME HERE: Startech

Can I just use this with my existing system or will I need to reinstall everything?

If you're planning on setting up a RAID array then you're going to have to reinstall everything.

Does your motherboard not have built in RAID functionality?

If it does it may well be better than you'll get from an "affordable" Startech add in card.
