adding game to external hd

Just wondering how it would work out to have say Stalker installed on an external hd as my internal hd is limited in space. For that matter any game on an external would run?

Transfer rates would be painful over anything other than ESata.

Why not just add another internal drive?

I have tremors which makes things hard to connect etc, but it might be something I can try anyway.

TY for your offer, but I'll ask my son I think to lend a hand the next time he is free from college. My tremors are light most of the time, but it can make hooking things up quite a bit harder than they used to be.

Btw, I'm located on the SE coast.
