Adding to a Raid 0 Config

Is it possible to add an additional drive to a raid 0 configuration without re-initialising the complete set, as i don't have enough storage space to backup the existing data.
Raid controller in use is the nvidia raid controller on an nforce 4 board

Yup, the NVidia RAID controller supports online capacity expansion. The MediaShield utility will detect any newly added drives and allow you to incorporate them into the existing array.

There are a couple of things to watch out for though

• The SATA port you use for the new drive needs to be configured for RAID operation.
• Increasing the capacity of the array won't affect the size of the existing partitions so you'll need Partition Magic or the like to resize your partitions.
