hopefully a passing Don could turn this into a simple yes/no poll.

i was just wondering how many of the members aspire to become a Don/Underboss at some point in the future.
it's a question i couldn't even guess at without actually reading comments from the members themselves but i, and hopefully others, would be interested in the results.

Would do the underboss thing, but do not think I would like being a don due to how some members react to you, and the possible change in my forum browsing habbits it would cause.

Also when you have Baddass on email anything I ever think needs done is done or im told to go and play in the playground some more and come back when I have something sensible

The dons that are selected and in at the moment + Gilly and one other person I would like to be a don are the right sort of people, as they moderate the forums quite well considering the amount they have to do voluntarily, sounds to much like had work being a don to me

I'd like to be a UB, think i'm decent UB material tbh, don't break the rules. My viewes are reasonably grounded, most posts are mature etc. And most importantly.. I'm always online .

I have thought about this one a bit - I am helping run the OcUK IRC channel and have been for a while now - it was an honour when I was promoted and I accepted because I spend a lot of time there and really it isnt that much extra work - thisng run pretty smoothly in there.

The forums are an entirely different matter - I dont spend anywhere near enough time here and reading every post in every thread would bore me too much so although I would be honoured to be asked, I would almost certainly decline it (or maybe take it on for a trial period to assess the workload).

We have a very dedicated squad of dons/ubs as it is, and to join the team and not work as hard would be just diluting it where someone else more dedicated could take "my" space and do a much better job of it.

Because of that ^^ I voted "No".
