No Renault seat for him then :p

Presumably because if there's not enough evidence to arrest him for assault - which makes me question the whole story - then saying in the paper that he did would be libellous.

Was he going to drive in 2012? The way Di Resta has schooled him, he'll be lucky to drive the company wagons to the grand prix, never mind the F1 car ;)

Adrian Sutil was involved in a nightclub incident with Eric Lux - the CEO of Renault owners Genii Capital - following the Chinese Grand Prix.

Sutil was in the M1NT nightclub along with Lewis Hamilton who was celebrating his victory in Shanghai, when he was involved in an argument with Lux. The Force India driver admitted that he was involved in an altercation, but said that any injuries sustained were accidental.

"At the event, which I attended as a private person, something happened which was a very unfortunate action on my part," Sutil said. "I injured another person completely unintentionally. I regret the incident very much and have apologised. As it is a private matter with no connection to F1 or my job as an F1 driver I hope you will understand that I will not answer any more questions on this."

Hmm...

So, he smacks the CEO of the company that owns Renault, and he's still driving for them!?
