I got the missus that one last year! This year I got her a sharing Hotel Chocolat one.

A few years ago, a customer went up to me on Dec 17th asking if we had any advent calendars left. Why ask this a week before opening the last door? I remember the date as its a colleague's birthday. We usually sell out Nov 30th/Dec 1st, Mentioned this customer to the birthday girl. Her response was why and FFS.

Advent calendars are rip offs. We have a Lindt one costing £15 and probably has about 150g of chocolate.

A lot of the decent chocolate ones have an extra big/special chocolate for the 25th.

Then it's not an advent calendar. An advent calendar counts down the days of Advent leading up to Christmas. By definition, Advent ends on Christmas Eve

Mine is more like Bingo rather than by advent date. Every time a dreadful poster shares his (or hers!) wonderful, awful thoughts I put a small gift back on to the calendar. It will make a wonderful gift to those more in need.

I got one of these last year off the outlaws, it was nice tasting the different coffees from other countries. However, after christmas they are about 66% cheaper!

Used to get my lad the lego star wars ones - they are still sealed several years on.

Wife and daughter would get amazon and clinique ones. But these are nearly £100 each.

Can't afford that this year, so we've all got lindt ones.
