Im with Drexel on this, win the auction, get the guys adress, its obviously guna be near you if it was stolen near where you live.

Just remember there could be potential retributions. Don't want him coming back and doing your car over big style.

sounds like an unknown steath attack is needed, wait till hes stumbling home from the pub, throw a sack over him, bundle into a van, take to woods, duff him up and leave him there :p

It was stolen from a public carpark IIRC, so there is no need for him to know Scoob's address.

If you haven't, get onto the police right away - do you have proof that the HU had these marks on it ? Do you have the box w/ serial number on it ?

thats true but something bugs me about how he knew it was full of gear
These scum listen out for cars with loud sounding sound systems and follow them back. I was always told to turn mine off a couple of minutes before I reach my destination so the local thieving scum don't hear me.

I think finding out his address by winning the auction is a cracker of an idea :D

Cheers for all the support guys, i've got the police involved, and am doing other things - don't worry, I know far too many people in brum to let this go.
it's ok, even if it's not mine o well. but it looks like it, marks resemble those of the damage in my car.
I will def keep you all updated, and tell you when I break his legs :)

Best not to brag about it on a public internet forum mate, stay clever like.

Just contact the winning bidder for his address :)

They are going to be rather suspicous - I wouldnt give some random guy my address because he was prattling on about stolen stuff

Cant the police contact them?
