Whats the sellers feedback and auction history like?

My first thoughts on this statement are possibly because you could be the person who has given them a lead on a possible (semi) organised conduit for moving on stolen goods.

they think he's known ! but didn't give me any more info, i'd love to go with a camera and see everything which he has in his house lol.
by the looks of things he has stacks of stolen stuff in his house.

that all depends on whether they get the headunit back... and if they decide to keep it from me as evidence for a while

As in, no updates? Or the police went round there but it wasn't the same unit as your's/they weren't stolen?
 
police went round and found nothing, not even the sub and mg stuff he was selling. they have seized his pc however for evidence, and will be looking through it.

Maybe he keeps them somewhere else, incase of something like this.
