Well if for example you know an MOT tester that is willing to bend the rules you can give him the car details over the phone and he can do you an MOT, if you get my drift.

...and by simply going from the reputation of DannyW this thread has thrown up - a 'postal' MOT shouldn't be hard for him to come by... if that is what people are alluding to ? ;)

DannyW that 325 was a disgrace!! why you bought it in the first place i dont know and then say it could sell for nearly 5k on that advert!!
