Advice on this system please

Does that only come in packs of 4 ? I was just wondering if at some point in the future I needed to up the memory would 2*16 sticks be possible? or do I need to buy packs of 4?

I mean for the better type of ram you are suggesting if it is a higher speed?

X99 has quad channel so 4 sticks is optimal for the system, the motherboard has 8 ram slots so you have 4 more slots to upgrade to another set of quad channel memmory.

Take a look at how many memmory slots the motherboard has.

The kingston savage would go well.

LOL point well made lol, I have gone with your 2nd choice of Kingston. I am not too sure about the power supply - I have gone with the evga make that was said earlier and gone platinum - no idea difference between gold and platinum on power supplies but figure better to go for more expensive for the components? Would this be a good fit just in case I add further SATA or other components further down the line?

Thank you, that is a great article. I really appreciate your time and help with this. By the ratio there I would only need 2 cores as I think I need 5 for windows 10 with the dc included. In terms of games how does the AAA game titles impact on cores required?
 
in terms of gaming the 5820k 6 core will need to be overclocked to 4.4ghz to match the 4 core 6700k at gaming. You are getting a high end gpu so nothing is really gonna slow that down much that you are going for, get 3000mhz ram also.

I would seriously be tempted by the 5820k or the 6800k.
