Advice please folks, I'm looking at buying a Mondeo ST 155 06 plate.

Facelift was 04 with another minor facelift in 06. Dont think they made any interior changes in the 06 facelift apart from a slightly new clock.

The 04 facelift was pretty significant, prefacelift cars looked like they had a dash out a 1998 escort. Cant remember when the ST TDCI was launched but was definitely after 04 so you wont get any prefacelift ones, you will find prefacelift 220s though.

Post 06 gets you slightly nicer rear lights, a new clock and some chrome bits

Only changes to the interior in 06 was the red stitching to the seats/wheel/gearknob/handbrake. Outside you got that horrible fake chrome everywhere. Although the rear facelift lights are better!

Just thought i would give everyone a update went over to Basingstoke and bought the ST priced at £7655. It may be a year older but for the difference in price compared to my first choice ST in the op i am really glad i took everyones advice.

Took some photo's apologies as i am no David Bailey with my slr

Pleased with the extras aswell satnav,xenons and the parking sensors for the wife

Car drivers well through all the gears and performance wise is leaps and bounds above the laguna lol.

You mean did they do the 2.2 TDCi engine in Ghia X trim? The answer is yes

Yes. They also do the 3.0 from the ST220 as well, but its detuned to 200bhp.

The only thing I dont like is the prefacelift gearknob, get one of these

Really tempted to have a shot in one of these, might be a worthwhile upgrade from mine but not sure how much difference 25bhp would make.

The 2.2TDCi is also available in Titanium X trim..

Mine was manufactured in May 05 will it make a difference?

Hmm not sure - probably best to check with them? Is yours a lift up collar for reverse? It looks like it is but I didnt think they had this..

Would definitely make the interior look better
