Advice please on first time build

Hi we went with the configuration suggested but windows just keeps crashing, we’ve updated drivers on MSI and AmD and Nvidia - not sure where else to start? On windows 11 any ideas?

Take one stick out. Does it crash?
If so remove that stick, fit the other? Does it crash?

If yes for both then not memory, it's something else. If it crashes with one specific stick then that stick is faulty.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Can you describe "crash" in more detail please, what do you mean by crash? E.g. Blue screen? Crash to Windows desktop? Black screen with audio until you hit restart?

Does it crash only when e.g. playing games, or at other times too?

Is EXPO enabled, or disabled?

Do you have any motherboard/RGB software installed?

Bue screen random - can be ok for a while but crash when downloading occulus app for example. Sometimes crashes the moment you get into windows before even done anything?
Downloaded motherboard andrgb software and nvidia app. What is expo?

We have been also getting a blck screen but reinstalled windows and got back in but keep geting the blue screen at different times so wonder if windows 10 better

Memory timings- not sure what you mean

In BIOS there are EXPO settings, once you set that it'll automatically set all timings correctly

Although in default mode, it should still be stable, it will just run in at a slower speed with slacker timings- so won't be as fast.

Try one stick at a time first, reseating each stick maybe not fully straight into the memory slot etc.

Check CPU temps as well.

Ok will have a look at sticks but temp has been all ok

I'd be concentrating on memory/hard drive.

Reseat HD. If it still crashes
Try another HD, any working one willl do, 2.5" SATA or 3.5" SATA etc
If it still crashes on another drive
Then take out one stick
If it still crashes remove that stick fit the other stick
If it still crashes check CPU is seated properly, all power cables pushed in properly
Also could try removing GPU-, use integrated GPU or try another GPU.
Try another PSU if you have one.
If it still crashes after all that then something more serious or difficult
