Advice please on first time build

We have been also getting a blck screen but reinstalled windows and got back in but keep geting the blue screen at different times so wonder if windows 10 better
Are the blue screens random messages/errors, or do they tend to have the same ones?

If they're random, it is probably the memory or the SSD as suggested above.

Running something like memtest would normally catch badly faulty memory.

Just FYI it was initially ok - all the problems started after it asked for an NVidia update, Nvidia had to be reinstalled and all the problems had been since then.

Have you tried using the studio drivers, or rolling back to a significantly earlier driver?

Studio driver?
If you do a search for the driver on nvidia website they offer you two:
- Studio
- Game ready

Usually you would choose Game ready, but can be worth trying Studio if there's a problem with the regular driver.

On rare occasions, the latest driver is bugged and doesn't work properly for some configurations. Causing BSODs is fairly rare, but it does happen.

Earlier graphics card driver?
When you search for a driver and click e.g. Game Ready, you can click "more versions" (or similar wording) and it will show you older drivers.
