It hits 4.5 I remember that mate, I will look at 1080 then, appreciate the help
Ok thank you mate, the 2600k is overclocked but only to 4.2ghz so not much.
RM650 is the kind of cheap power supply you buy to replace a RM650Any cheap powersupplies that I could get to replace the RM650 guys?
Something like that is the cheapest I'd go (CPU cooler in the box):Also, any cheap motherboard, cpu and ram bundles worth getting to change the 2600k / z68 v pro/ ram too ?
What issues are you getting?Apex running into issues running on this card with this cpu and setup, tried with no overclock too so like mentioned will likely be power issue.
Just freezing when try run apex which us the game he wanted it for mate, can't load and when it does it crashed, but not like a proper crash, the screen freezes is all.
^In the first instance I would try/stress test the 1080ti in your main rig to make sure you haven't been sold a lemon.
Don't forget the 1080ti can be up to 8 years old now if that was an original specimen from 2017.
Not necessarily so.I am sure it's a power issue like was said
yeah the 570 is half the power draw of the 1080tiI put the rx570 in and apex runs, obviously doesn't need much power in comparison does it
