Hi guys,

I'm at uni and a girl (spoilt brat) down the street drives a VW Beetle convertible. We were standing outside the smoking area of a bar tonight and she drove past, music full blast, and her passengers threw glass bottles at the bar. They smashed about a metre away from us and could have caused serious damage.

Just wondering what you lot would do in my situation? Would you leave it or follow it up? May I remind you that glass shattered against our jeans and it could have been a lot worse.

Cheers,

I would probably have mumbled "idiot" to myself and carried on with whatever I was doing.

However, if the bottle had hit me it would be a different story.

I'm not sure mate. I'm a bit jealous, but if that sort of behaviour continues someone could be hurt. Also you have no idea what a cow this girl is. She went to my girlfriend's school. She was bought a Fiesta ST on her 17th and the Beetle convertible on her 18th because the ST was too "boy." Anyway I might go and knock on her door and talk to her. Seems more mature than phoning the police/university. What you reckon?

Well it didn't hit, But it sounds like a show of might if you ask me by throwing those glass bottles, lol. i would respond with baseball bat in hand.

get 30 or so eggs smash them up into a bucket give them a stir and poor it over the roof of their car in the middle of the night......will be a complete **** to come off as will be dried on by then + no voilence and damage to her car *much*:p

Some of the replies here amused me but lets be honest, I'm not going to key or damage her car. I'm better than that, I just want her to realise that what happened is completely out of order. So should I speak to her or just phone the university and file a complaint, which would be easy given she has her window open 24/7 with a bunch of knob ends smoking and playing loud music out the window at 3am. Funny given I was fined for loud music but then again a 200W RMS subwoofer and a 80W RMS/channel (X4 Speakers) speaker system is probably enough to cause disturbance :D

letting tyres down is no damage.

although to be fair i would report it to the police, but then they wont do anything about it these days.

I posted a thread about this recently because some residents complaint to my university about me.

I have realised... You're right. The police are useless, you are far better off going through the university! I may do that, but I will talk to her first.
