Lacoste - Hot Play & Lacoste - Red for daily wear.
Armani - He for going out.

Issey Miyake - L'Eau D'Issey for evening.
For day to day CK is the main man IMO.
Excellent choice, though sadly you're right. I haven't discovered any mainstream fragrances similar enough yet, either.
You might like some of Comme Des Garcons' Incense series if it's the cedar notes of Rush that you like, or possibly even Serge Lutens' Chene, which is the smell of freshly worked wood in a bottle![]()

Win.
I'm a big fan of Creed fragrances. A good everyday fragrance from them is something like Virgin Island Water, Silver Mountain Water or Himalaya. As an evening fragrance I'd recommend Green Irish Tweed or Tabarome. I never liked the Tabarome at first but it has grown on me.
You can't get them online but some of the big department stores in London do them. Have a look here to find your nearest one. http://www.creedfragrances.co.uk/site/stockists
There aren't a great deal of stockists but I suppose that's a good thing as it maintains a degree of exclusivity.
Going to give the one on Bedford Street a look at later while in town, and see if I can find a nice fragrance for my dads Christmas present. How much are we talking for some of this stuff?
35ml bottles are about £65 and 75ml bottles are £95.
The shop is called Smyth & Gibson Shirtmakers. It's in Bedford house facing the civil service building, about 100 yards up from the Ulster Hall. Ask for Geoff and tell him that Blain sent you.![]()
