Same, as far as I'm concerned. Saw the email this morning and thought it looked fake. Barely use Game Pass these days so will likely never need to worry about age verification.
 
Got another email from Microsoft this morning reminding me that I need to do this or come early 2026 I won't be able to use the social side of Xbox such as voice / text features and game invites, yet the main thing is access to any games / dlc / achievements won't be blocked.

Doesn't bother me as I don't buy games on xbox or use game pass.

I received another email this morning, too. Like you, not bothered about going through age verification as it's unlikely I'll be engaging with the social features on Xbox anyway.
 
Meh. I had the message on my Xbox as well. All it took was a photo of my face (which it said is immediately deleted once verified) no documents needed etc.

I think the Discord age verification partner said the same thing :p

Once people are verified for social features I’m sure they’ll extend it to other things. If they don’t apply it to game age ratings then it just proves it’s more about tracking than safety.
