I figured it was coming when there were a couple of games I couldn’t access for a few moments last week due to age restrictions. I just took a photo of my face while on the can, couldn’t give a crap, literally.

I got the email as well ... not doing anything as yet here either.

I see it now, they sent it to me at 5AM so I didn't initially.

I don't even use the social features on Game Pass, I just play games.

You'd think they'd apply some common sense and realise that if your account was created before a certain date that you're probably over 18. I have emails going back to at least 2004, so unless they're suggesting that I was using the account at least 2 years before I was born, then maybe... just maybe, I'm over 18...

They have no idea if you've maybe sold the account to someone else, etc. so would still have to check to be compliant.

Yeah, everything about it looked fake to me. The domain was showing as '@e.xbox.com' so I was a little wary - especially seeing as there have been more articles recently popping up about people being scammed by fake 'age verification' pages.

I so rarely load up my outlook account, I doubt I'd have even seen the email if not for this thread. Not that I care about anything it might restrict, ignore mode on.
