Ageia Tests Next-Generation PhysX Accelerators

That image has been modified for sure. The green rectangle on the left hand side of the heat sink kind of gives it away and the faint text on the bottom of the heat sink has also been photoshopped in.

The faint text is meant to be there, it's the name of the people who published these photo's I think, just like on review sites you have watermarks on there pictures, dunno why that green rectangle is there tho, obviously covering something.

“A PPU needs to support Havok and previous physics systems too,”
It would be nice but I don’t see it happening Havok charge to much to use there API and are not doing very well at all. Few Havok games come out anymore most devs have dropped it for Ageia or other solutions.

True but that backs up what I said. It’s taken how many months into the year to get new Havok games. Correct me if I am wrong but compared to the past we have very Havok Games.

The only reason Bioshock used Havok was they already had a licence and the devs know how to code for it. I didn’t say or mean to sound like Havok has died only that its not doing as well as it used to. As few games use Havok any more supporting it with a PPU isn’t as major as it used to be.
