You know, i heard this morning that we swallow a substantial number of flies and spiders in our lifetime, during our sleep.

Not sure of numbers or if it's true. but ewwww.

Protein in it's most revolting form.
 
Why kill it? A healthy spider population in and around your home is almost essential! As per the old saying...."You might have spiders, but you don't have bugs."

Don't say you weren't warned when you wake up one day with fly larvae hatching out of your privates.
 
Reading those last replies just reminded me of something I did years ago. Was walking through the kitchen when a little spider came down from the ceiling, right in front of my face, suspended by a silk thread. He was at just the PERFECT position, so I ate him right out of the air. One of those things that makes no sense at all, but just seemed like the correct response at the time.

Fly spray does NOT kill spiders. I know I tried once, it only serves to **** them off more. They will be back in packs. When I was a kid, I had a nest of spiders in my loft, which would come out in my bedroom at night. I could hear them walking across a magazine on the floor. One shudders at the thought now, they were huge, spider after spider, night after night. Was so tempted to burn the house down. Thats the trouble with very old houses.
