Airfield day?

I was reading about a Carlimits airfield day that IMOC organised and it got me thinking if we could do a similar thing on OCUK?

It looks like it costs around £40 for the day if you can get 20 cars to participate.

Is this the sort of thing that anyone might be interested in? I just fancy having a laugh hooning around and generally killing my tyres.
 
How much time would that give me running about, do they limit how many cars are out at the same time?

I only want to practice my drifting you see :)
 
This could be interesting :) I wonder if a track could be laid out with cones?

Wouldn't mind hooning around an airfield :D

Mind you, wouldn't want any of those MX5's, pah need proper cars :p

You don't need anymore track time andy, your quite mad enough as it is.
 
I could be up for this. Good intro to track driving and all that. :p

Only worry is I don't want to show up Mark in his MX5 with my Focus. :p ;)

Also if anyone feels like letting me have a go in their car they are very welcome to. ;)

If there are only 20 of us and we get from 9am-4pm I'm sure we could arrange it so that we could each have some time alone for drifting and stuff.

Not exactly a unique opportunity, driven several before and i quite enjoyed it, good cars i just don't like the dash.
