Airsoft Battery Question

I bought a ICS M4 and a GP 8.4v Mini Battery, however when trying to connect it in, the battery is too large to fit in the stock.

So, what style of battery do I need to use for my M4?
 
couldnt help you with your specific question.. and whilst there are a few airsofters on these boards... it would be much quicker to ask at ukan or ascuk about this :p
 
Take the end of the stock off, slide the battery in and put the connector ontop.

Screw the end back on tight.

It's what I have to do with mine.

(Had it nearly a year and a half and it's not killed the battery yet!)

if you have a mini battery, does that mean that you have the collapsing Stock?

does yours look like this:

if you have the second one, do what Skully says.
if you have the first one, then you must open the handguards a the front to place the battery inside.
 
the TM MP5's aren't very good, many people swear by them, but i've seen a couple of brand new ones just fall apart.

the ICS ones are full metal, and can be had for less than the TM ones in some places.

high-grade Airsoft replica's are very well made, and tend to be exactly the same as the real thing.

i reccomend that instead of going and buying one of these things on a whim, you go to a skirmish a couple of times and rent. then you'll get a feel of whether you really want to Skirmish or not.

that said, if you want something to go on the wall, the TM one would do you fine.

What battery are you actually trying to fit in there? is it a mini battery or a large one?

And again, which stock do you have, the law enforcement collapsable one like the one above of the two pics, or the full fied stock like the bottom one?
 
Sorry to hijack but I didnt really want to start a whole thread on this...

I am looking for a cheap (£30-£50) NBB gas pistol, only two I have found so far are the Umarex Baby desert eagle (2.5 joules, ABS ext./metal int., .177 steel BBs) and the G2005 Laserhawk which is less powerful but full metal and comes with a laser sight... which ones better or are there any other ones available for that sort of money?
