Yeah, cause you can dude.

Well, if i put it in my backpack there is a chance it will get robbed, so i use pants as another option as no one will rob my pants lol

But, since seeing that Police shooting post, i kinda went off the whole idea of it even leaving my home.

if the police want to shoot you in the head on a train in public they will - a BB gun isnt going to save you

If your planning on only using it in your garden why would you need to put it in your pants or backpack? Who would rob you in your own garden?

I got an airsoft pistol, and I dont play airsoft.

I bought it because its my all time favourite gun ever. Ze Hand Cannon, the desert eagle!

Looking to get a M4 next I think.

I know I dont airsoft, "whats the point of buying it" I hear you cry.

Well, I have an interest in guns, its not strange, I dont ever take my airsoft out of my house, and I never ever aim it at someone, even if it isn't loaded.

If you fancy shooting tin cans etc. rather than people, you should check out the Walther CP99 pistol. It's gas powered and shoots pointed .177 metal pellets rather than BBs. I think it is actually made by Walther themselves. You can shoot right through both sides of a drinks can from a fair distance.

I got a few airsoft guns an mp5 M4 beretta and a Hi-cappa, i would like to do airsofting at some point but as there isn't anywhere close to me ill have to wait till I'm driving. I mainly got them for using in my house as I'm a big gun fan and as i cant have the real thing this is the next best thing. I would never take them out of my garden though. If you plan on shooting your mates in your house garden etc then id suggest you get some safety goggles, not the cheap ones from a hardware store, look for class 1 polycarbonate safety glasses. You can get them on line for like £3, don't pay ten times as much getting them from an airsoft store look for safety product online stores. Do get them if you plan on airsofting with mates though, these guns could easily damage your eye and you will end up blind, they go through a can at point blank and smash pot noodle tubs up at like 15 meters away, they are not toys.

If you want a hand gun then the hi cappa is the best Ive used, its a lot better than the beretta for power and accuracy, the beretta looks better tho.

Or if revolvers are more your thing then you cant do much better than the S&W, this is the most accurate co2 gun, i didnt really like it so i swapped it with my dad for his CP-88.

By all means buy yourself an airsoft pistol.

Just do me a favour, don't be a dumb**** and carry it around in public with you. You'll only end up either getting shot dead or arrested under the firearm act.

I don't think this has happened in the UK, but in other countries children have been shot dead for carrying replica handguns in public. From several paces away a replica/BB/airsoft looks very similar to the real thing. I for one couldn't tell the difference at several paces away - and I have near 30 years experience with the real thing!

I personally view airsofters as Walter mitties in disguise. I can understand you may have a liking for firearms, in which case, enroll in a club and shoot the real thing (obviously not handguns, unless you're military/police/govt. employee).

I like guns, so I got me two Lee Enfield .303 rifles, adapted for target/hunting. The difference is I got the real thing, not some plastic-pellet-throwing look-alike.

If you're doing CO2, S&W > CP88 > CP99

But don't do CO2 if you want to shoot people. I've seen a CP88 chip bones.

i just found this site: http://www.geniestuff.co.uk/

and thought it was excellent value
It is if you want cheap plastic spring guns that fall to bits after a while, they loose power rapidly as well. Id stay away unless you just want it for the looks, a gas powered airsoft gun will be far better and far more exiting to shoot.

this is one of the best places and the cheapest ive found.

So these CO2 guna are the closest thing you can get to a real gun in terms of how they feel/fire?

Are there any out there that acually make a gunshot noise as they go off? Blanks or somthing?
