Some awesome weapons here, seems its quite popular?

Mark, is this metal? http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/1023/img04631iq.jpg

How much did that set you back? I think metal ones look awesome, looks count!
Yep its all metal and very heavy, a real nice looking gun IMO, its a co2 gun though so not really what your after. It was £160 i think, i got it a few years ago. If i was you id go for a softair as they are a lot of fun and feel realistic to fire. A Mauri Hi-cappa 4.1 would be a good first gun.

Here is a few pics of my 5.1, the 4.1 is the same but a newer version with a smaller mag.

Hi Mark i appreciate you supporting me,

You have a sweet collection, do you have even more? Expensive game to be in.

That 5.1 looks terrific, what are they costing?

Yeah they are all airsoft. That pic was actually taken at the end of a days skirmish as we reloaded the car. Would have taken everything but simply ran out of room in 2 cars (Vectra Estate and Fiat Punto)

Have only been airsofting for about a year now and I think i basically have nearly everything i want. Couple more on the wish list but everyone does have at least 1 they always want :)

Airsoft is all about skirmishing for me and I like to be able to use a variety of stuff during the day. That collection is basically what me and a couple of mates will use as we switch stuff around a lot. Why its all at my house tho im not sure! If anyone is interested in airsoft and getting some kit I would advise you to find a site and try it first. It will let you get a feel for the game and the equipment and you can see what you like. So many times I have lent out a gun to someone thinking its what they want only to find that it just isnt for them. Saved them lots of money and kept their interest in the growing sport.

Oh yeah. Final note is I forgot to include 2 more pistols in the missing list. I recently purchased a couple of Glock 18C AEPs with lots of extended mags and Tracer units for night gaming :) Always forget something lol

If you get into airsoft properly and you have a credit card I suggest you cut it up, it gets addictive and costly quickly :(.

Shadowman, where do you skirmish?

Well me and my broter both like them so he bought the beretta, he also owns an mp5 full auto, i have a hi-cappa and an M4 full auto. I also have a few co2 guns 2 berettas, cp-88, and used to own a Smith and wesson revolver, ive posted most of them. I used to have a really powerfull spring pistol called a HW45 it is one of the finest spring pistols made and costs around £170, it kicks out 6fpe which is the limit for pistols. I sold it a few months after i got it though as it wasnt fun to shoot, power isnt everything. I also own 2 air rifles that are my pride and joy.

Shadowman: That's really impressive; what would happen if you got stopped though with all those in your car?

Are they legal/licensed or something?

Thanks mate, keep it up, sounds like an awesome hobby. I loved Paintball if that matters, and i have shot SA80s and LSWs (real ones) and that was much fun :)

There is currently no legal ramifications to carrying all that kit in our cars. We have a reason to be doing so on our way to and from a skirmish so no problems there. In fact a couple of people i see most weeks are police officers and they bring their stuff in their cars all the time.

We do have cases and bags for nearly everything tho (Except the .50Cal as it impossible to find a box big enough) but if we got stopped for anything, I think the first thing we would do is let the officers know exactly what was in the car. Dont want them searching and finding it without us telling first. :)

The VCRB (Violent Crime Reduction Bill) is looking to stop us purchasing new kit but we will be able to keep and maintain any stuff we do own already.

Shotgun_ned :I play at Urban Assault and Free Fire Zone in Cambridgeshire. looking to travel up to a Lightfighter Urban game in the future tho. Have guns will travel as they say :). Unfortunately a lot of my kit is fairly specialised for our specific sniper rules and over the limit for a lot of UK sites (Still legal tho) so i cant take much to some sites I would like to play.

What sort of age group go to skirmishes?, im 23 so would i be to old :o , this is definatly something i would enjoy.
