Akasa A-62 AMD x6 *Zosma* build

silly question, i wouldn't have ordered it from china if it wasnt the fastest stock speed x6 and it wouldn't have blown up if i listened to the advise about the phases on motherboards...

so if i didnt blow it up in the first place it would have been :p

well its finally been said... Project postponed until i get a cpu, oh and if you can unlock it stably it is like buying a x6...

something doesnt seem right to me, in all your threads you seem to be getting scammed or the used stuff you buy never works but you still dont learn?

i think all the money that has gone into it all so far you could have bought a nice new rig from ocuk and been up and running a while ago.

1 scam :L

mate you paid 70 quid for a icute psu, why someone told you it was worth that price i dont know.. for 3 quid more you could have got the xfx pro core edition

Well i didn't know that at the time... its hardly a scam, just bought a "untrusted psu"...

It isn't 'what you've gotta do' paypal protection is their for a reason, if I was scammed out of that amount of money I'd make damn sure they didn't get away with it, but I suppose you're taking a step in the right direction informing the police. Good luck, maybe one day we will see this build start.

its started... but the cpu blew up withing 2 hours...
Anyway, paypal and ebay buyer protection refuse to step in, due to the purchase being over 45 days ago

Did the CPU "blow up?" It's very rare, far more likely the board just went pop. Any testing to confirm? Jumping to conclusions is a bad idea, anywhere, especially in IT

One day you'll get there

Had no tersting done, i got the board replaced, but jumped to conclusion witch planned out to be a verry verry bad idea :(

i know it was stupid to send the cpu of, but as soon as i diagnosed tit could be the cpu aswell i sent it straight back :L

You didn't diagnose anything.
Your board died and then you just acted irrationally.
There's a reason we tell you to do things, it's because we have working PC's that don't lose us money.

Well what else was i supposed to do, i had no other board to test it with, and the smoke came from around the cpu area, there were also what looked like burn marks on the cpu. so...

Did it not occur to you that the motherboard might be dead too? Were the marks already there on the CPU? Did you take photos as evidence before sending it off? Can you take photos of the motherboard now? Have you been able to test the motherboard since?

No marks before the blow, i tested the motherboard, and that was broken, i got a replacement one a week after i sent of the cpu.
i Asummed due to the burn marks and the amount o smoke it took the cpu with it aswell.
Yess i did take photo's prior to shipping the cpu and motherboard. Thanks

so whats the ebay buyer protection and paypal protection thing about? does it get you your money back or what? dont understand :D

and zaccc no offense or anything but why are you reporting them now?!?!?? its like you dont care you lost £150 of your hard earned money?!?? or are you spoiled by your parents?!?

I work for everything i get, i earn my money, in fact my familys rather middle class and never have much money :L
Ebay buyer protection should get me a refund o replacement for the product, but due to me buying the cpu over 45 days ago they refuse to step in.
Why do you want to see the pictures ? :L

Upload the photos so we can see.

And as wentalong has said, why are you not bothered? I would be hasseling Paypal every second I could about it.

There is nothing that i can do, my mother may report him to the police, but that wont solve anything, I was warned, I ignored those warning, It was my fualt, But there is no point crying about it, Ive already earnt £65 towards a replacement.

Not to repeat myself but...

It just seems from an outside prespective, reading this thread, I cant help but think some of this is just a farse. If you truely wanted it sorted, it wouldnt be the case that your mum "may" report him, but she "would" report him.

You say its your fault, that is evidently true, but there is much you can do yet to get your money back. Its just like you really cant be bothered and are acting defeatist.

Well, whats more important to a parent, trying to get a childs £145 back or running a business, ive spent a whole day working on pc's ready to sell so i can get the cpu back asap, what important about the pictures, i took one of the mosphets on the mobo and one of the cpu coverd in thermal compound :L

well because my gaming computer is just bad luck, i have 4 computers and 2 laptops in my room alone, all working perfect excluding my gaming pc...

Thanks for the wished of luck, ive learnt my lessons, or atleast for now...
x6 gaming setups are a lot more complicated than core2's and Pentium 4's

still how many days ago did it go out of the 45 days??? if it took like 30 days to get here they should take that into consideration, tbh i think you arent bothered about loosing all that money, which is a wrong attitude to take at life...

i am bothered, they wont accept to open the claim... so i cant do anything about it that take a chip on the shoulder and start again.

:L well the latest plan is a new case and a dual core for a temporary cpu... then im going to work hard for a few months and get a am3+ board and octo bulldozer :)
