Akasa Duo Dock 2

Ok just got one of these but seem to be having a little problem with the Asus p5b deluxe board or Windows 7.

I'm using the onboard esata connection.

The BIOS sees it on boot up, the power led is lit up on the akasa - but soon as it boots into windows the HDD1 light goes off so the drive doesn't show up.

Anyone any idea on this?

edit ....something so bloody simple ...sorry bout that I had to install the jmicron Controller .

I'm having exactly the same problem; could you explain a bit more about this jmicron controller?

I have the same problem as well. I thought it might be my esata port or something so I didn't bother finding out/emailing Akasa. Had it for about 3/4 of a year now but if I could get it to work that would be amazing!
