I went into Aldi for the first time in years after hearing great things about their Glühwein. Wow, the place is like Kwik Save isn't it? Mad how everything is laid out.

Picked up a bottle of said booze anyways, let's see if it's much kop!

Just a heads up, bought a few bottles of - Edouard Delaunay Chassagne-Montrachet 2000

Absolutely exceptional white wine. I never buy chardonnay so this has really opened my eyes to what a good one tastes like.

I keep checking our Aldi for the 1973 Ducastaing Armagnac @ £25 for 50cl. It's unbelievable value :cool:

Veuve Monsigny Champagne Brut £9.99

I haven't tried it but it won a silver medal this year and it gets excellent reviews. Good Housekeeping reckoned it tastes better than a £30 Heidsieck Gold Top. I'll be snaffling a few next week if I can convince the missus to drive over.
