Aldi has become a very fashionable place to shop for the upper-middle classers... who are often pretentious enough to pronounce foreign-origin words in foreign accents, to effect an air of superior education, even if they get it wrong or have to invent it.

They did the same thing with Porsche, pronouncing it with an Ah at the end of it.
