Alex will do great. The show needed a bit of a refresh to be honest.

Gary Linekar is a plonker though. She hasn't even started yet and he's already stirring it up with that tweet.

I haven't watched it for years. Getting rid of the bulk of everyone is a great way to upset all the people who do watch it though I'm sure. You'd think they'd introduce changes slowly to keep everyone happy.

However, she's an ex professional female player with a lot of presenting experience and good charisma whenever I've seen her on things. Sounds like a great candidate.
 
So they fired everyone in order to "revamp" the show, but really it was just about getting a person with darker coloured skin into a role so they could tick a diversity box. Why is anyone paying for these organisations?
 
In what way isn't she qualified for the job?

From what I can see, she's the perfect candidate: years of top-flight sporting experience including major achievements and accolades, and a degree in sports journalism and broadcasting.

I'm not into sports at all and even before anything was mentioned, I predicted a woman of colour will be the new host.

I must be psychic.
 
I've got no problem with seeing more Alex Scott. Saying that im not a huge QoS fan, doubt ill watch it much in the future either way.

Not sure she's going to suit the role from what I have seen though, she's very cliche as a football pundit so whether she has that same chemistry with the captains that Barker used to have remains to be seen.
