some politicians seem to be jumping on the bandwagon and and going along with the populism of the Alfie's Army rent a mob - guess which party this guy is from:

And after all, Alfie have been in hospital continuously since December 2016. There must be something really really bad going on in him if he hasn't been out of hospital for almost 1,5 year.
 
Stephen Hawking got a few decades in with a functional body before his particular neurodegeneration crippled him. No cure even for someone this high profile.

This kid has symptoms of neurodegeneration at the age of 1...

Why do MPs have to stick their oar in? What do they know about anything?

When did it become okay to incite a riot?

yes you can, if your own breathing isn't getting sufficient oxygen then it might need to be supplemented... you're trying to be pedantic for no reason here

the state he was in at the time was that he was breathing on his own, he didn't have oxygen... he apparently needed oxygen - there wasn't anything incorrect there

Which means you are not capable of breathing on your own. If you require oxygen tanks to assist your breathing so you don't die that means you require assistance to breathe, this isn't exactly complex...

I'm really not sure what you're trying to argue here but you're making no sense

if someone is inhaling and exhaling air then they're breathing

if they are doing that unaided then they can be said to be doing so 'on their own'

he apparently did so for 5 hours last night

he is now being supplied with oxygen

you've quoted me twice to make some non point when all I've done is make some factual posts, there is nothing for you to correct, you're attempting to be pedantic but with no reason

These days everybody is told that their own stupid opinions mean something and should be respected by everybody else. Hence we live in a world where everybody os offended about everything and believes everyone else is wrong and should change their views to be in line with themselves.

Everybody is turning into a narcissist.

It made perfect sense, I pointed out that your statement was an oxymoron, claiming he was both breathing on his own while simultaneously being dependant on assistance to breathe.

no you just misread it, he wasn't on oxygen... you even cut out the bit of my post when quoting it stating that the hospital won't allow it

I'm not sure what you're having difficulty understanding here /sigh. You claimed that he was breathing on his own but needed an oxygen tank to breath, they are mutually exclusive, you cannot be capable of breathing on your own AND require assistance to breath because you can't breathe on your own.

I was simply pointing out that one of those statements must be false (due to the mutual exclusivity).
